I have a W reg. Brava 1200 and when first started will rev up to between 2000 and 3000 rpm. Within 30 secs. or so it is trying to slow itself down! The car drives perfectly well except when the engine is niether pulling nor on overun - here it tends to jump! It's embarrasing at traffic lights when the revs are going up and down until it eventually settles at about 1100 rpm. Has anyone come across this before? Which sensor will it be?
