Now, for those who missed it, Koa has dreadlocks and was after a particular band to make him look respectable (jk!). I think the posting was done on another thread I can't find ATM.

Did you get any Koa?

Does anyone else know where he'll get them?

Liam

Thanx for this Liam, I missed this thread, too busy to look in the LL lately..

The answer to the question is...... NO... I still haven't got any.

The one place that had them was in the USA and they wanted like £12 to deliver them and I wasn't sure if they were the correct ones so it wasn't a good risk.

It looks like the only possibility is claires accesories. There are 3 around my area and none of them have any in stock

I have taken a picture of the last one i have got compared to a normal ponytail band.

If anyone has any ideas or knows where to get them.... Must be black though and would be better if its in the UK..

We live in bournemouth and Dreads are a lot easier to do than you may think. It took about 5 hours to do but its the upkeep of them that sucks big time.
It takes a lot of dedication to keep them looking good, my wife spends about 2-3 hours every month, and for the first year they need to be rolled every day whenever you get the chance..

My wife (Chrissy) said she'd be happy to show you how to dread :)

Theres a shop round the road from where i work (in gravesend) that does all that kinda stuff. Will have a look on Saturday for ya (y) How much you willing to pay for one?
I think i got a pack of 5 for about 3 quid so they are not expensive, but if i can find the exact ones i could do with a few packs so i have got the future sorted. I don't wanna have to go through finding them all over again ;)
I would appreciate that Luke (y)

My hair started to dread itself before I got it cut (had to look smart for school and my mop was untameable) now its growing back and i'm leaving school dreads would make a nice change. Thinking about it I know someone in Bath that had them...if he can't help then I may have to ask Chrissy. :D
Thank you.

Yours look awesome btw. (y)

Not looking forward to those really hot summr days though. Last year was bad enough and it seams to have grown a good few inches from then.
My Daughter had dreads when she was 14 and her school accepted her and that was 4 years ago now when being accepted for those sort of things was pretty rare in schools.
Only problem is, she didn't accept the school
haha.gif

She cut hers out just a few months ago and regrets it now :)
