Re: Stilo alarm

Took the header console off today and all the connections seem ok.

I doubt I could change the console with someone elses because I have the skyroof controls in there as well.

I set the alarm while the header console was hanging off and it made the single long BEEEEEEP as normal but then about 5 seconds later it made a short single beep.

Car is going in again in about an hour so I'll see what they say, I'll ask to speak to a tech as well to give him more detailed info (y)

Re: Stilo alarm

Ah, yeah as I thought - header console. Again, the "pins" must be the connectors from the mainboard to the sensors - a dodgy connection here would cause your problems.

Re: Stilo alarm

Been reading with intrest this topic have noticed my alarm doesn't beep at all when i set it but keeps finger on button and windows go down.Keep fingers on locked button they go back up.It disables the locks and also the led on door and dash light up when locked.tHinks me need to read manual.

Re: Stilo alarm

What year is your Stilo? as mine is one of the Phase-2 versions so the bleep may differ between the 2

Oh and another f****** thing is when i started the car up today "alarm filure" flashed up :bang: a quick shutdown restart sorted that out though, IT Crowd style.

one of the connectors is probably loose when they were messing about with it, if it does it again I'll be back at the dealer with a face of thunder lol

Sure you have alarm? This could just be a Stilo with flashing lock/unlock.

Re: Stilo alarm

Aha yes i got an alarm for sure as at top of the window is the 2 sensors that is for the ultra sonics.Im on a 52 plate funny though i have never actually heard my alarm go off is there any way i can test it.

Stilo abarth alarm

Hi folks i don't why i haven't done somthing about this before now but here it goes any way, I own a abarth 2.4 on a 52 plate.Right i been playing with the alarm. When i lock the car with remote key it doesn't bleep the doors lock and led flashes.I think the volumetrics on the alarm has been deactivated. As when i sat in car to test it ie covering the ultrsonic sensors the indicators flash but no alarm goes off.My car doesn't have the 2 buttons near the interior light at the front for turning off the alarm system. Is it located some where else on Abarths Or does it not have this i dunno it got me stumped all help apprciated.Cheers Lee.:D

Re: Stilo abarth alarm

Lee, can you post a pic of your volumetric sensors so we can see what system you have as pretty sure the header console is the same for all models (that have an alarm)
