Styling F4usT - Silver B

ah.... odometer stop working (speed and km), warning light does not work (all 4 blinkers), on dash board blinker works only when turn right... some background lights are off.... :bang::bang:

One of "those" days.. I know what your talking about..

It's all ways nice to jump to b and take it for a ride and notice that nothing seems to work way it should.. but sometimes next time you go for a ride everything seems to be just perfect.. Don't know is it just me, but I think that b's have pretty moody mind.. :D

first ride with hardtop and first machine washing. silence in car and dry seats. now i can wear white trousers!

(y)(y)(y):slayer::slayer::slayer:

left window fit like born with rubber seals, right window need a little adjustment. i can hear some whistle behind my ear. somebody cut wires for heating back window... have some strange console with 2 switches and one push button. push button is for heating, but not sure what are those 2 toggle switches... black outside, and some silver fabric inside. i will probably upholster inside to black.... and it's hot inside, or maybe that was just me.

i'm mad.

i bought used... first was metallic blue, then some patriot repainted to red-white rectangles like our coat of arms (crest??, blazon??) and finally somebody repaint to mat black... :bang:

now i have to remove all old color and repaint to metallic black. inside is some white-gray (dirty) fabric with hand prints (it wasn't me this time) so i'm thinking to re-trim also to black.

Looks really sharp in gloss black with silver [Shine Gray].

I have seen one trimmed in black - looked good but a bit dark on winter days when the sun is scarce - thinking of redoing mine in cream alacantra.

there were no problem with adjusting, i was surprised how perfectly fit on first time. here is one winter pic... it's under roof (i disassemble old corn tower and create awning for barch) but heavy wind blow that snow from side... and no watter came inside. (y)

first i need to find 400€ for new summer tires (205/40-17)... Toyo sounds good.

long time no update. now i'm on vacation... so...

sanded with compressor

soft 2 component filler

and hand sanding tomorow...

(y) alloys are sanded by sponge 500 granulation, and then again primer + filler to fill holes from compressor sanding. now... the worst part came.

as yo see on images... there is some black paint, that for securing i don't go too deep when sanding (yes, again). so i have will use sponge 500 granulation and :tosser::tosser::tosser: with watter again until that black paint goes away. and then will be ready for paint...

my grandmother: "Take it, you have to eat some vegetable, you looks so pale, are you sick? take those flasks.".. i said: "ok. thanks." i like cucumbers anyway....

aaaAAAaaaaaaaaAAaaaaaa! NOOooOOooO!

yes, of course, it spilled all over the passenger seat. that acid smelling juice of cucumbers. somebody did not tighten enough cap of flask... this is the last time i drive some liquid things in that car. thank you very much.

Hi mate. Cover the upholstery with baking soda. It will absorb the vinegar and the smell but wont damage the fabric. Another solution is to use dry filter coffee. This also absorbs vinegar but CAN stain fabric. A friend used to share a works van and used to complain about workers who ate fish and chips in the van and the smell of vinegar the next day. He claimed that a cup of dry ground coffee, left in the van would absorb the smell of the vinegar. Hope this helps.

The coffee trick works - perfume shops often have jars of beans to clear the smell between scents. Suggest you use a plastic container with a lid and punched holes after cleaning to help keep the smell at bay. Easier to clean than ground coffee if it spills!

thanks... i clean everything i could. Coccolino for seats and some cleaning stuff for floor. i bought some bags with 4-5 pockets for every seat year ago, so will put in one pocket some ground coffee... :bang:
