why did you not get one from henk?
That would last you forever as this piece of sh*t you bought won't last a full year

Henks upgraded one is btw €40 cheaper

Yes, but shipping is to expensive to here because of bih packet + taxes on customs... i order from him a pair of belt holders attached on head of seat. 20€ + 10€ postage. Asked for new in fiat and they said 50€ piece. this was worthed to buy fron henk. Also package like hardop is 1000€ shipping only...

there was car meeting near my town... barch was quite popular there. :D but i didn't won any medal, because judges though whole car is serial with no modifications... and i was not near to say what was done :bang:

Ooooh, I hope she didn't leave a pert, peach-shaped dent on your front-end, mate - I only have to look at my B and I leave a dent in it!

gar074: actually they hide dents. one above licence plate. (wall didn't wish to move from my drive line). and one in side when wheel wrench slipped and i hit fender with head.
bumble: yes good idea, but judges were guys. and i don't want to be more friendly with them than i'm to other guys. i love barch, but not that much.

actually they hide dents ... one above licence plate and one in side when wheel wrench slipped and i hit fender with head.

I like your thinking, mate! I wonder whether I could persuade my other half that the lovely young thing draped over the rear end of my B is hiding the dent left in it by the clumsy ape who pushed me when it broke down a few years ago... (y)

i knew this day will came. i need bigger car. found some Opel Meriva 1.4l, 2006, 55000km... total cost: 5300€ ... that's above my budget, but sounds like fair price.

(in my language Opel Meriva sounds like "Opel is pushing me."... same as qashqai. if you add FU in front of that word it become a question : "are you intercourse something?")... :bang:

so for now i will not sell by barch, i will put it into empty stable so all horses will feel as at home. we will see what's next... i will wait for new insurance law where you pay insurance to only one car and then could change plates to other. or buy test plates for few days few times a year... paying full insurance for 2 cars is too expensive...

Amen to the idea of transferring insurance from car to car! One person can only drive one car at a time, so I don't see why it shouldn't be possible to have just one policy covering whatever I happen to be driving at the time.

I'm sure your B will enjoy a temporary rest in the stables. Just don't leave it in there for too long, or it might get fat & lazy!

i'm surprised this is not already in EU... maybe is already possible but it's not common and peoples don't know about this... insurance companies are not probably talking about this as they lose money by this option...

but this could be great for weekend cars and old timers... not every day cars. i need to ask, but it's possible to buy a demo plates for few days by paying small insurance fee... but not sure about MOT.. this is often used when buying used car and need to drive from one town to other...

found some Grande Punto 2008, 1.4 8V, 53000 km, whole year insurance, winter and summer tires, full equipment. and for 5.400 EUR... i think this is an ax in honey. finger crossed!

i will drive like a boss in rain. no wet pants anymore! (y)

Sounds ok! Hope you'll keep posting here tho'. Everyone'd miss your fine advice and prose otherwise :) By the way, what is an ax in honey? ..Slow to accelerate..? And a boss in rain..?

By the way, what is an ax in honey? ..Slow to accelerate..? And a boss in rain..?

i't looks all was lost in translation... i will try to explain...

Ax in honey
So, the story goes like this: once upon a time there was no honey on exports and could not be bought in any store, nor wood. So the loggers and beekeepers, one looking for firewood, and the other in search of honey, wandered forests each with its mission. Since the wild bees settled in hollow tree trunks, when hitting ax to hollow tree which contain beehive, the ax would literally fell into honey. Lucky man!
other words... i was lucky to found this car at that price.

i will drive like a boss in rain
(i will shorten this one) Once upon a time, there were peasants and their bosses. Bosses had carriage with roof, while peasants were walking on foot. so when raining bosses were not wet.
other words... no more leaking roof on rainy days...

i will keep barc as long as possible. i could see myself in 70ies, wind in periwig, cigar between denture, cotton in the ears, listening Flogging Molly and saluting with finger to new ECO cars that fart soap bubbles from exhaust... :slayer:
