Just make sure he doesn't fiddle with the side that holds the spring ... it takes a very long time to replace after that gets loose.

The Panda is a basic animal... even a complete novice can work on one with some margin of success.

no, its just that i bought a pair of buckles off a scrapped fiorino, (one of the originals was broken), and i took out the remaining good buckle, and put in the two newer buckles. So the buckle i took out is spare

Alan, about the seat belt fitting - I need the bit that the seat belt clips into on the drivers side - if you have one could I have it? I presume you know which bit I mean.. the seat belt itself is fine - it's the bit that is attached to the floor of the car with the black release clip on it. If anyone has one I can buy from them that will fit then that's brilliant. I'm taking the car home next weekend for my step-dad to start work on so I could really do with it by then if poss.

Yes defo - a panda hugging female is right - although my car is a little 'boy racerish' at the moment! The interior is brilliant - not actually as bright as pictures would have you believe but definitely a gorgeous colour. Everything is slowly coming together to sort it out to perfect condition and everyone on here is great. Nice to meet you!

The Panda 'zendar' Aerial is part number 46237569. They are still available as I bought 2 last week, mail order, from Desira Fiat in Norfolk. One was in stock and arrived next day, the other was put on order and arrived 3 days later They cost £9.89 each and some VAT and some postage. Spares dept number is 01379 650131
