Hi, I've got a Panda 169 Eleganza, 05 plate, with a newly replaced battery (the issue started before the battery replacement, and has carried on since, but the battery replacement was due to it dying and not this issue).
I get an intermittent ESP failure/engine failure/hill start failure that results in the engine turning off and those error messages showing. It goes away when I restart the engine and has always been in places inconvenient to photograph the exact error messages. All the other electronics seem to be fine, the check procedure when I start the engine always returns "check OK", and I've only been getting this message once a week at most, and more recently once a fortnight.
Any ideas what could be causing this? I have read that a brake position sensor could be at fault here which I will look into replacing.
Thanks

Hi :)

The 'brake switch' has 2 modes..

1st triggers the Brakelights

2nd sends a signal for 'body control'

This happens LOTS in puntos.. :-(
the 169 pandas seem to be MUCH more durable electrically.. yours in now elderly ;-)

Worth getting a reading from the car ... to see what 'it thinks' the problem is

MES is good for that
