…and destined for scrap!

This is my 2009 Fiat Panda 1.1 that I bought as an MOT failure in august this year and in my ownership I’ve repaired and replaced many things, de rusting pretty much everything, welding sills, painting, replacing brakes front and rear, flushed brake lines and flushed gearbox, new rear wheel bearings, new rear cylinders and hardware, new strut top mounts, removing lacquer peel from bonnet and respraying, adding apple CarPlay with a new 256gb android screen and adding 16” Fiat 500 alloys and refurbed those and repainted. Lots of hard work in this car and she now drives perfectly, no rust anywhere and all MOT advisories have been fixed. All in all I’m really happy I’ve managed to save a 16 year old panda that was destined for scrap and make her completely and entirely roadworthy.

Might be selling her soon, she was a project car and now everything has been fixed I need a new project.
Mileage 80500 ish, used occasionally so will rise a little

Hope you like :)

Looks great, I wondered what 16” wheels would look like on one.

My son was 17 this week and Grandad has given him a 2010 1.1 Eco in blue that has been parked up for a while as the elderly owner had given up driving. No advisories, but…. Brakes are very sketchy and a whiff of fumes in the cabin, both of which point to advisories in 2022 for brake imbalance and a minor exhaust leak.

I’ve bought an Eonon single din radio with Car Play to replace the standard radio just so he doesn’t need to touch his phone when driving when he passes his test.
