I ve heard u can put a punto engine in a seciento??is this true??and how do i go about it??

1242 from Punto 60 8v drops straight in if you mod the exhaust or make a spacer up. I've done it on my cinq, click the link below for some info.

doubt a punto gt engine will fit without making mods to the bodywork. the 1242spi goes straight in cos it's exactly the same as the sporting 1108 apart from it's 10mm taller because of the engine stroke. have a look at www.novitec.com they do a 1242 with turbo conversion and thats far more power than a cinq should have! you'll be able to whip punto hgt's with that!

yer thats all very nice on all but like 3000 euros 4 the 1.1 turbo conversion and 4000 4 the 1.2!!erm thats abit pricey???how about i stick wiv tunnin up the standered engine??chip? cams? bigger 5 gear??and nos??wot u reckon???

I'm new too!
thanks for asking all those questions! saves me asking them again!
i'm thinking a turbo would be nice, but i'm not exactly mechanically minded, are there places that can do converts for you??

When you say you want to mod the standard engine, do you mean the 1.1? coz mine so far has new plugs and leads, Janspeed full system, K&N induction kit, with multiple feed, and a nearly a chip (havn't got round to buying it yet) hehe.

are you saying its 4000 euros for a 1.2 fiat engine? is that brand new? i know a scrappie in essex that will do you one for a hec of a lot less.
