engine tuning

hi i have a y reg sei sporting and just woundering if anyone knew any engine tuning places,or any mobile tuning people,my fiat isnt running properly and someone said to get it tuned,it as had a recent service,just woundering if any one could help

there is no such thing as 'tuning' in that sense any more, your ecu does it constantly.

what is the problem?

hard to explain when i start it up its like misfirein,it does not do it when drivin,it as had a service 2000 miles ago brand new battery,sorry ifthe does not make sence

sounds like weak ignition. when warm, combustion occurs more easily so it isnt as much of an issue. when cold you can notice weak ignition much more easily.

check the HT leads. if they havent been replaced when they should then its time to replace them. same goes for the spark plugs.

failing that try a compression test, small head gasket leaks between 2 cylinders are not uncommon, and you dont usually get any symptom other than a slight misfire (until one day several years later it fully blows and you get a major misfire)
