engine problems

hi my 2005 multipla has developed funny noise it is chuffing through the air intake the recovery said the big ends has gone but i have been told it could of jumped on the timing belt

would this engine fit

Personally I would have said no for that price u can have a multipla bravo Meria engine paid for and shipped to u etc with around the same mileage

If it's slipped rather than gone completely, you might not have totalled the engine.

I was driving my other half's Citroen AX when the engine died, car got towed in and problem was diagnosed as belt slip. this was a contact engine, however new belt and we were away.

I can't be the only lucky b'stard out there!

Had the engine looked at and it is only one lobe gone on the cam shaft
