Technical Engine possible ?

Hi guys.
I have a 1993 ducato based camper with the 8140.27 engine.
I have a head gasket problem and have found another engine from a 1993 iveco.
Problem is that it's a 8140.27s engine.
It's rear wheel drive etc.
Is it possible to fit this into my van ?

Why not just get the head gasket issue fixed? Cheaper and easier than fitting an engine of unknown quality that could go bang on first start up.

I've a smashed injector in the cylinder of my campers engine, I have a spare engine but I'm going to use parts from it to rebuild mine as I've no idea what mileage is on it, what condition it is internally or anything about it really bar what I can see on the outside. Second hand engines, especially old ones are a risk.
