Technical engine management light

Hi all,
The engine management light on my Y reg 1.6 marea weekend has come come on and is staying on even thought the car is running fine, The car is due its 72000 mile service (including timing belt) at the end of the month, and i recently replaced a cracked exhaust manifold, so my question is could it be as simple as dirty spark plugs or dirty injectors, or should i be handing it over to fiat to check over? dont realy want to as my local fiat dealership charges a fortune.

The best thing would be to get it in for its service and see if that fixes it. If not get back to us.
