Well.. progress ..of sorts

MOT passed.. but at <20k miles..that isnt too shocking

No advisories..and no issue with emissions

But.. the pic may hint at why

(My TA punto has always shown as mega clean.. at various test sites .. now at 52k)

In fact it makes her look pretty good against this:



Which is the results for my, supposedly, "super clean" 2016 petrol direct injection Ibiza. At a glance it would seem that the reports I read of direct petrol injection producing increased particulate matter when compared to the older port injected engines like Becky's might be true?

Ps Both engines run Morrisons fuel with a mild dose of Archoil AR 6900-p MAX at every fill.

My 1.4 Tipo got this on its test recently
HC was a little higher but CO and lamba were both good

Its the CO of 0.00 that will take some beating..

What was that aged joke..

The gasses exiting the car are cleaner than the city air going in

Panda results 2015, 2016, 2017 (2018, 2019 were similar but I don't have photos on file).
Hit the magic '0 ppm' in 2017.
Always Selenia oil (and almost always Tesco petrol !)
