Technical Electrical steering problem (something new!)

Hello to everyone,

I have a problem with my electrical steering in my 2003 MK2 Punto.

Up until now the red steering light was on, but the steering wheel worked fine! Now turing the wheel to the left is easier than turning it to the right.

Anyone ever faced this kind of problem?
