ECU monitouring??

Hey was wonderin if anyones used some ecu monitourin software before?Been lookin round and cant find much on the stuff I know you need the cable

am guessin its something like this (for a fiat stilo 1.4) but what software would i use on a laptop to monitour my cars performance and different engine pressure (general car performance) has anyone used this before?any bad experiences??

It's a bit unclear, but from the ad it sounds like the lead comes with the software. If not, there is some freeware stuff out there, at least for Linux.

A search for obd2 software open source should throw some interesting stuff up.
