Hi there, i have recently joined the site. I own a Punto sporting 1998. I have lost my key and had to replace the entire ignition barrel, codebox, keys and ecu.
I have noticed that the car performed better before i swaped the ecu's around. I have opened up my old ecu and noticed that the chip has been modified.
Does anyone know if its possible to only swap the chips around, is the ecu chip linked to the codebox?
where can one get this done, or can i do it myself with some limited electrical capabilities?
