Technical EBay CarPlay no display

So this is the second CarPlay I’ve bought from eBay and they both haven’t worked

starting to think it would be something to do with my car because one of my friends has bought the same brand CarPlay (plug and play) for their car and it has worked anybody know anything?

Hey, not sure how much help I can be, but I have installed an aftermarket head unit on my Bravo.

Can you provide some more information? How are you powering the always live 12v line, and where are you getting power for the ignition 12v line? I piggy back from the passenger footwell fuse box for my ignition 12v, and if I remember correctly, I might have had to swap the live and ignition lines to get mine to power, but this is headunit specific.

Bottom line is, if you are getting 12v into the head unit, and you are getting an ignition signal, then your head unit will power on, no matter what else is/isn't plugged in. If not, then you've either powered it wrong, or it's faulty, but I need more information to advise. By the sounds of it though, the odds of both of your stereos being faulty is improbable, so I would check your 12v lines.
