Hi guys, I just bought an adaptor lead second hand off ebay to allow me to retain the steering wheel controls when fitting my Sony HU.
I have fitted the ISO plugs but im not sure where the black, Orange and Yellow bullets are supposed to go.
I have been told that there is a wiring diagram online but I cannot find it anywhere.
The lead is by Autoleads
I know this topic has been covered a zillion times but I cant seem to find a posting with a diagram.

Many Thanks
Gareth

A quick post just to say that I have abandoned the idea of getting the steering wheel controls to work, when I connected the interface lead the controls all worked but all in the wrong place, ie the volume button would change the source etc:cry: ......my friend says his Marea does that kind of thing all the time and he still has the original head unit, does anybody have any ideas as to why it would do this?
If not could somebody tell me what is involved in changing the steering wheel to a nice Momo, how do I remove the airbag wheel and how do I stop the light from registering a fault?

Gareth

Well, I had absolutely no problems at all using the Autoleads connector that I specified in the link that I posted. 2 minutes to install, and away we went :)

Make sure you have the right lead though. there are two different ones. My thread specifies the model numbers and which year of manufacture they are compatible with.

My only problem was that the extra wiring made it a tight fit at the back (bit like my girlfriend !! LOL) but with a bit of judiscious wiggling, it all went in ok.

Oh right so its not just mine thats like that then! (girlfriend I mean) must try more patience and wiggling
