Technical Orginal CD headunit help marea

Hello all, the clock backlight works but the button lights don't. Any ideas? It's a factory fitted hlx CD player. I don't want an aftermarket unit, if a replacement is required anyone got a spare? Thanks

Are your parking lights/dash dimmer working?

I remember the button light being tied to the dimmer/parking light on HLX (like heater panel lights).

The lights come into pin 6 on the A connector on the radio (from back of radio, lowest row of pins, one pin between the fuse and the lights input).
