Is that the curious brakelightswitch on a RHD?

Is what the brake light switch? Amd yes right hand drive if that's what you mean by RHD.

I was referring to the rusty bracket with white plastic switch in (what 's for me) the last pic.
And yes RightHandDrive.
In mine LHD the switch is directly behind the brakepedal.

i know this post is super old, but for what its worth, when i inspected my rear trunk wiring, it looks perfect, the rubber covering it wasnt even dented at all so i ALMOST just left it but i was like ehhhh let me cut into here and check it out:

would have NEVER known!
