Can anyone help. I have a fiorino van 2009. Last week the battery light came on, on restarting I was dead. A mechanic came and replaced the alternator and then battery. Same problem. He then ran a wire from the alternator to the post on the positive which feeds the fuse box. This then created a new problem. Ebd failure and abs light, which kept putting me in limp mode. Diagnostic said speed sensor. Parking sensors kept stopping. On clearing it would run a while but the battery light would come on again and the same problem. Today it wouldnt start at all. A auto electrician came and says the problem is a broken earth from the relay to the ecu. He's ran a wire from the relay to the negative, which starts me and keeps me running. I have to disconnect it on parking. He says the permanent cure would be to strip out all the wiring, which would take hors and who knows how much money. At £60 per hour I don't want that. Anyone got any ideas of a quickish way to locate the wire

EUR 4 or EUR 5? Is it a manual, or Dualogic?

No need, I will get you a wiring diagram and a description of the system for your vehicle from the eLearn module.

But every model / engine has it's own documentation, so need to find the correct one. Perhaps they are the same, no idea
Its manual. I don't know what EUR 4 means.

Probably here:

Looks rather like the variant or version, but nevermind.

Attached are ignition system, diesel engine management system, power supply and earths (this one differs depending on the driving side) eLearn docs. In the engine management system at the very end you've got the colour coding of the wires.

The diagrams are vector graphics, so you can zoom them.

You'll be able to see the location of the looms, colours of the wires and where they are connected. That should help you identifying and finding the wire that need replacement.

If going through the documents you'll find a particular connector or module you'll need the pinout of, let me know.
