Tuning Dump Valve & Boost gauge

Right1 Im planning on getting a dump valve but one problem the vacuum line is really short and a could imagine getting another t-piece on there so is it possible to put the t-piece on the line going to the boost gauge or won't it work aswel? or is there another way?

Cool are you sure though because the t piece for my gauge has this kind of t-piece with the metal bit in it like this one?
