Technical dump valve

i have bought a dump valve for my 2008 tjet.
there is a small pipe that goes from the top of the dump vale to a vacume pipe.
where abouts is this vacume pipe.
i tried useing it without the pipe but the sound was coming out of the air filter and not the dump valve.

Should be anywhere on the inlet manifold after the trottle body
