Technical Ducato water temp going to 1/2 immediatly

Hi All,

Couple of questions, where on a fiat ducato 1.9 I would find the water temperature sensor (I have had a fairly good look but still can't see anything), also a part number to replace it.

I have a 2.8 so can only suggest from how mine is laid out. On mine it is on the n/s of the engine, there is an alluminium block at the end of the cylinder head with the top radiator hose and two temperature sensors.

I would suggest you will need a new radiator.

Was told to do this first and it worked, turn ignition on, remove the centre plug from the instrucment cluster, wait 5 seconds, replace the plug and turn the ignition off then back on.

Worked for me
