My mechanic trying to locate a water pump pulley 3 bolt fixing (see pic). Excuse my ignorance but I have zero knowledge about engines however I’ve been on here before and have been asked to post this for help. It’s the last thing needed to get my van back on the road after 8 months. Any help much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If you have the engine series number, it may be on the chassis vin plate it is possible the same engine was used on other makes of vehicle which will widen your search area.

Hi Bob 12 and welcome, This observation is for other forum users as well. When asking us to identify engine parts, would it be possible to blather them with old, black engine oil? That's what my engine always looks like. Cheers, Ian.

If you have black engine oil smothering the water pump, on an engine that uses a timing belt, you should be concerned.

Yes the 280A1.000 does tie in as a Fiat based 1.9 turbo engine as you may see on this photo of Technical manual.
Sadly that means there are few other applications that used that engine apart from the Talento?
I see this website mentions s/h stock, may they can supply the pulley?
