Hi - I have a 2002 2.8JTD Motorhome (Rapido 710F) to which I am wanting to fit a cruise control, supplied by Bridgwater-Electronics.

Have got most of the install worked out in my mind but one item remains. One wire has to be connected to the RPM indicator. (rev counter!)

Firstly, does anyone know for sure if this model has an electric RPM indicator or is it manual drive?

Secondly, if electric (as I hope and suspect) where would be the best and easist place to pick up the supply wire in order to make a soldered connection to it?

Any info from anyone would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Chris,

If you have not placed the order, may I suggest that you pause for a while. Please see my comments in your other thread.

If your vehicle is an x244 model, then there may be an easier way.

Hi - have read both your rreplys to my two threads. Thank you for your interest in both.

Issue is resolved today, just not been on my computer to update threads until now..

No need for a rpm signal now as the clutch pedal switch performs the same function for the cruise control module - problem solved!
