Technical ducat 2006 wing mirrors

How do they fold in?no owners book came with the van,they seem to be electrically operated,the mirror glass tilts etc but turning the knob on the drivers door does nothing to fold them in,thinking its a door mirror fault(drivers is damaged)or the ecu that controls them

The wing mirrors do fold in but only if you do it manually.
The knob on the drivers door only controls the which door (left or right) the electric mirror adjuster operates.
The two arrows are for which part of the mirror, top or bottom half you can move electrically on either the left or right mirror via the the joystick like knob in the middle which you rotate to point to which ever mirror (arrow) you need to adjust, then move it sideways in whatever direction (like a joystick) to adjust the mirror

Hi,mines the shape in my avatar,i checked the down loads found the one for the newer shape looks like they are electric? i cant fold them in at all,which is a right pain when parked up in narrow streets

mine are electric and so they;
- can be adjusted via electric control
- have an electrical heating element

adjusted via previously mentioned knob.
heating for wing mirrors turned on with rear window heating button. square, rounded edges, centre of dash.

mine also do not fold in.

As far as I'm aware, Fiat don't offer an electric fold option on these mirrors.

Yes, I wish they did, bearing in mind at £300 + (genuine) to replace. But guess if they had electric fold, they would be replaced with manual ones due to cost to replace!
