hi all,

i have some question i hope u guys are able to help me regarding the dualogic,
i just got the vagcom cable and multiecuscan, i did a final service(end of line) calibration, as the test is going on, where the gearbox is selecting thru all the gears, the dashboard shows a msg "gearbox failure" is this normal? or there is a serious problem with my transmission.
There is no error/fault code and it shows completed after its done.

I posted awhile back that my dualogic clutch was sticking.

and while i am driving, sometime as it change gear i can help a knock sound(i am guessing it is the gear change solenoid) is this normal?

thank you.

Hi MEP,

thanks for clarifying the failure massage, however u said that there shouldnt be any clonk, in this case, what is the possible prob? so far i can hear that it only happens during gear change occasionally. when i did the end of line test, the process where it select thru all the gears, the sound is very similar.
could a worn gear mount cause the sound? or suspension?

thank you.

regards,
Sherman

hi MEP,

What should i check for and how? im handy with tools and electronics stuff.

or must i send to a specialist shop?

i have cleared the error. everything seems ok now. but the clonk is still there occasionally.

Thank you.

Note: i did a test run to collect some parameters, i can see that the hydraulic pressure fluctuate between 40-50bar during a 5min drive.
link to the testing result its in csv format, the values only.

update: i think i might know what is the problem. I am guessing that the clutch could not disengage fully for the gear to change and sometime caused the clutch to stick.

Any idea what could be the problem? clutch release bearing?

update

Confirm its the clutch. have change the clutch pressure plate, clutch plate, bearing, selector fork and bushes. now its back to normal.
