Technical Driveshaft removal

Hi,my son has a 2001 1.2 and i am trying to get the driveshafts out to do a clutch on it do you just lever them out or undo the bolts

I take the 2x swivel hub bolts out and with the hub nut removed i work the driveshaft out the wheel hub

Getting the gearbox end out requires a prybar and getting a purchase on the cup inner edge and pry back on the box

They can be a pain to remove..... i have 1 where 1 was dead easy to slide out - 1 i had to go via the open end and smash it out.....

Take ur time on the earth strap ontop of the box - ive never had sucess in getting them off intact....

Youve gotta small circlip on end of the driveshaft in the box
Sometimes they dont shrink into the gap and end up been a stopper (which is what they are meant todo)
Try rotating the shaft 1/8 - 1/4turns as they may help the clip drop into place with gravity

I think Fiat designed them not to come off.....
