General drivers side headlight bulbs

Ok i know i've kind of asked this before but i need to change the main beam and fog light bulb on the drivers side and i was wondering if i could do this or is it a garage job,

The main beam is a doddle but you might struggle with the fog light (try the search for help)

would i have to take the water bottle off to get to the main beam bulb

The main beam drivers side is easy - all you need to do is remove the top retaining nut of the water bottle, ease it off, and then push it back slightly - this gives you all the room you need to take off the back cover of the headlight unit, and hence replace the bulb.

No; the main beams are towards the middle of the car and are by far the easiest to get to.

I'd change them on both sides if I was you with +50% bulbs

As I said the main beam is easy but you might regret changing the dipped beam (especially if it's still working)

If you intend to change all 4 then I'd strongly recommend you read all the threads on the subject (there are many) - just use SEARCH
