Hi,
We’ve just replaced the 330,000 mile DPF,

, for the life of me, I can’t tell the van

(ducato 2.3 180bhp, 2020 euro6d with adblue)

When carrying out MES replace function,

We get a fail out of range, then after about 2 seconds the screen clears.

I’m purely guessing, that it’s something to do with the “generic error” on dpf regeneration status.

As the instructions state it should be status “ok”
Has anyone found a working solution?

Also the same result on a snap on & autel diag system

Multiecuscan ver 5.0 have just updated to 5.1 and will test again tomorrow, but expect the same results as the autel and snap on

Or have Fiat locked this facility out

Cheers Neil

I’m told (and first I knew of) my van has an SGW (safety Gateway) hence the inability to perform certain tasks via Multiecuscan, Autel & snap on diags

Received today a Gendan bypass cable, just need to locate the module, hoping it’s inside the dash behind the passenger glovebox

Tomorrow’s job

Forced Regen to clear the “generic error” on the “forced regeneration state”
To hopefully then try to replace dpf, in ecu

But as soon as the Regen ended it showed Generic Error again

Giving up
Think a trip to Fiat for them to reset it at some silly price I guess 🤦🏼‍♂️
