Hi all! I am a long time follower of this forum and now I am about to join in! and it's not my best moment, I have a 2015 Punto and it has been great. However the passenger side door, the lock only had one screw in instead of the three that should be there, so I tried contacting ebay sellers about purchasing a new screw to fit into it. While driving it would make a squeaking sound so I knew it was something I had to fix. The sellers didn't have a screw to sell so I started purchasing different sizes to see which one would fit. When I found one it just so happened that someone had keyed the length of my car, and the metal was visible which is not great on a white car! So I screw this new bolt in annoyed and I don't check if the door handle actually works, slam it shut and boom, it no longer opens.... It is in the bottom screw hole out of the three, and I can't really get to it, If I open the rear door there is a slim gap where I can just about reach. Does anyone have an idea what I can do? I have contacted a car lock mechanic but they said to take it to the dealership which I can imagine is going to be an expensive fix. I'm going to try attach a pic of the screw and how I can access it, any help will be greatly appreciated!!!!
