Talking about miles to the gallon i thought i would share with you how many miles to thegallon our cars do.
Punto = 45mpg
Astra Turbo Diesel=50mpg (i hate that thing :bang

Uno General forum, but you missed the Uno out Our cars are Unos
On A recent trip with mixed speeds, I achieved 50.45 MPG [(edit) in my Uno 1.0 IE]
I did 422 Miles on a Full tank of 38 L - 8.36 Gal

to tell you the truth, i tend not to boot it loads, as its just not worth it against car u know ur gonna pish on! and i never boot it in the wet as its just wasted on spin spin and more spin!!

No chance of that happening in an uno turbo lol if anything i get people to move outta MY way. Its the most annoying thing having someone behind you revving hard and hearing their dump valve go off, Most people get scared soon as they see my uno turbo coming up fast towards em in their rear view mirror and move straight away

ok guys about these problems, i'll tell u things about drivtng in egypt:
1: no one drive between lanes, u can go where ever u want.
2: the bigger car u get more cars u can hit....
3: sh** what the hell is this????? i can't c??? it's a f*** Pajero turning it's head lights, want to pass me, even there is other empty 4 lanes but...
he got a big car (read no. 2)
4: hit and run,if u stopped people will kill u.
i wish i have cleared what do we suffer from so don't talk abou these mall things like passing by..... :bang:

That is a distant dream in a Sei. We have the same size tank. I'd be lucky to get 322.

Most was at 55 MPH in the slip stream of lorries on the motorway TBH – although there was a bit of country road rallying near Peterborough
55mph on a motorway?? hmmm sod that, places to go and people to see, outside lane here we come

When you've got good music 60mph on the motorway is great. Also, if the trip's for business/work purposes it's even better, as you'll make sure you're not in a rush and 40p/mile expenses rate goes an even longer way
However, I *ALWAYS* floor it all the way from Junction 6 of M1 south bound - completely empty after that as all the M25 people get off - great fun.
As for the overtaking, I dunno what people mean TBH! Our Alfa gets it all the time, but then maybe 'cos we live on a road with speed bumps
The only small modern box on wheels I'd be scared of is the 1.2 Corsa. The SXI's are the common ones - shed loads around - must be the free insurance offer. £10k for *that* - bloody hell!
If you get to ever drive one though, do, it's flipping great fun
Everything else I find that 1st, 2nd, my (1108cc) Uno would have loads more torque, and then after that (top end) it's either exactly the same or the other modern car would leave/gain me slightly.
