Has anyone else had this? Mines started to bubble up on the top right hand side :(

Whats the chances of getting it sorted under my third year warrenty  :(

Where do you hold the wheel? Mines doing it a little where my hand rests ( not on the 10 oclock 2 oclock position ). Ive put it down to the fact that my hand is resting but also pulling down on the leather so sooner or later it will strech and crease it causing it to pull away. You can get creams to keep leather subtle and prolong its life, i use them on my seats but never on the wheel. Hope this gives you some insight as to what it might be.

"The Trim Shop" on Lockwood Rd, Huddersfield.
Ive no Idea what they're like though, just saw the name on the Net.
Good luck getting it sorted mate.:)

Looks like perhaps i was the first to experience this, had my steering wheel replaced under warranty a few weeks ago because of the leather doing something very similar.

It was worn on the right hand side.

Happened on my GP last year in august - was put as wear&tear - when I've asked for a number to Fiat H.O. they've decided to have a second look and took some photos of it - car was only over a year old at this stage.

I've got it replaced but the replacement wasn't perforated leather anymore - Fiat discontinued that afair and replaced with standard one...

My steering wheel has seen far better days as you can see from the pic below. It begand with little tiny ripples on the leather to big ultra thin leather bingo wings hanging down so no choice but to pick this off.

I bought a steering wheel cover from Halfords for £9 but it looked ridiculous so I immediately took it back for a refund.

Any suggestions of a good cover or how to fix this?

My 09 has perforated leather on the steering wheel.

Being that it's RAP Yellow, I know it was made on or after 20 Jan 09.

That doesnt look like leather. Maybe its not real leather on the wheel? If so this would explain why people using leather treatment are having problems with it.

Coming over from the Bravo section with little ripples... I said RIPPLES.

Has anyone had theirs replaced after the 1st year warranty but before the 2nd? Seems all internal trim has a 1 year warranty leaving us in the hands of Fiat UK's mercy?
