doblo really slow when cold

hi,i have a 55 plate doblo jtd 1.9,when its cold it is really really slow until revs go above 2000rpm or until it heats up. is this normal with these or do i have a fault?

This would have probably had more replies in the doblo section.
As to your question, I have an 06 plate 1.9jtd & in all honesty I have never liked starting any car on a freezing day & driving straight away.
Every morning I let everything warm up a little first, I've always had a bit of a squeak from some bearings somewhere - not good but it does then let me know when the oil is runny & flowing round the engine as the squeak then stops.
It only takes 3 - 4 minutes but i think it's important to give the engine time rather than over-stressing it.
