O.K. Key/Immobiliser question......
Do the 2006 on Doblos have a 'master' key with a chip or circuit board inside them ?? For instance,on my Rover 45,it has a 2 button plipper to lock unlock the car and this also sets the alarm/Immobiliser......Is it a similar system on the Doblos ??
The reason I ask is because the Doblo that I've just bought only has 2 plain keys......these lock/unlock the car and it was running/driving perfectly well, according to the fella I got it from. So......is there a 'master' which has the remote lock/unlock function on it ??
I've just looked on eek bay and there's a guy on there selling a new blank key, fitted with a used transponder, which he says can be re-programmed to your car......is this correct, please ??
The key (for the car that I've bought) that I'm looking at has number 2,with an upside down triangle, partially inside 2 circles,on one side and an 'A' number on the other.
Anyone give me the nitty gritty on this issue, please ??
