Diagnostic question

Hi guys,
Thinking of buying a cat d car,
Have seen the diagnostic report and the mileage does not match up.
It says the mileage of the car was "28000 miles" at the time of the check late last year. The mileage of the car now however is only 22000 miles. If the mileage of the car on the report was actually written down in KM instead of the units of Miles which have been written down it all works out and seems fine.
Has anyone ever heard of this before?
Could a fiat dealer really make this mistake? Is it something to do with their diagnostic system?
Or does this just not work out?

if its a print out from body computer then it may well be in km

It was done by a garage called Lombarda in west london who claimed to be a fiat and alfa romeo dealer. I tried ringing them to double check but was told they have gone bust and i have now been forwarded to a recruitment agency who bought their number lol.
So it could be possible that this mistake could of been made?
