Technical Device not compatible showing on radio

Radio keeps coming up with message, Device not compatible every few seconds even with nothing plugged in so radio cannot be used. Has anyone had this issue or have any ideas how to fix this? tried pulling fuses and disconnecting battery, also cleaned out usb port. Usb port type in picture attached

Is the car new to you, or has this issue suddenly started popping up?

It’s my girlfriends car, she’s had it for 5 years from new. It seemed like she plugged her phone in one day and it started happening from then
