So barsteward has door dinged the rear drivers side wheel arch of our 500:mad::cry:

Noticed whist giving her a good clean today & so bloody angry:(

Got a great PDR dent man in Sheldon who'll sort it & a tiny blob of paint will sort the chip but still, some people(n)

Cheers,

That's a bothersome piece of bad luck. Condolences.

When you see how carelessly some folks treat their own cars, I suppose it's hardly surprising that they've even less respect for the property of others.

Sorry to hear about the dent.

Well you guys will love this. I was outside a nightclub at 6 am and there was a Mini Cooper parked right at the corner of a junction, so it shouldn't have been there, but what happened next shouldn't have happened either.
A mini cooper (lets call it mini cooper 2)had come to the junction and was turning right on to the main road, where the parked mini cooper (mini cooper 1) was. So number 2 took the turn and gave the parked car an almighty wack on the front left side and after it hit kept on forcing it until it was free of the other car!!!, which scraped, dented and took a small piece off the bumper. The bonus prize, was the fact that, as I was 10 meters away from this incident, there was water clearly leaking from the parked car, from what I see the car who hit the parked car broke the washer fluid reservoir of the car. (someone pointed out it may be the radiator but I doubt it). What happened after mini 1 hit parked mini 2? Nothing mini 1 just drove off as if nothing happened.

When mini 2 driver comes to his car and sees the dent and the fact that their windscreen wiper has no fluid, I am sure they will wonder what happened?? While mini 2 should have never parked there in the first place, they didn't deserve that!

Hope you took the reg of the offending car. The driver was maybe over the drink drive limit hence bad driving and leaving the scene.

We're careful but sometimes you can help having to use a space you don't like the look of.

I'm betting this happened at Gatwick North long stay when I flew to Padova for a long weekend.

My dent dude will sort it for c£50:)

Bad luck on the dent. Good news is the bodywork is thin so removing dents is easy. I've had 2 done, totally invisible now.

I have a dent by wheel arch too courtesy of a red car in a tesco car park who managed to rub all down side of car. Luckily all left with is a dent after much polishing of the long red rub line. Can't afford to get repaired so dented she shall be until sale time when I will hope to get rid on a rainy day

I always park away from everyone, but sometimes luck is just against you. I've just discovered a small dent in the door of my previously unmarked Volvo where a stone has been shot out sideways from someone's tyre as they drove down a gravelled drive the other side of a hedge I was passing. There was a noise like bullet as it hit the door :(:(:(

In Greece almost everyone is over the drink drive limit driving at night = ) There is not enough police around.

My careless passengers created my 2 tiny dents on the passenger side door! I should charge them!

That's no good.. :(

Who's the dent man? I have a major crease in 3/4 panel which happened when I parked in an Asda car-park.

I must have had some premonition because I parked on the end of row... right over the white line on the far end.. so essentially next door had one and half bays to park in.... and they STILL collected my car with their front corner as they turned into it.. :(

All of you with dents, you'd be amazed what a good dent repair guy can do. No need to leave it.
It has to be a good technician though as I've also seen some poor attempts too.
Ask around your local car dealers for recommendations.
Anyone around Cardiff way, I can recommend an awesome fella.

Look at his gallery to see what kind of damage he can remove.

Yes good dent people are really useful! I've used chipsaway.com twice for my dents, they have been good. My door dents are barely visible and the few scratches I have are on the bumpers so I don't need any work done on mine!
