Hi recently had my car serviced, amongst other things, was told it needed new WIper blades. Front ones £9 odd each, rear one!!= £26. £26 bloody quid for a wiper blade.
Turns out the Stilo Multiwagon (forgive me if they are all the same), needs a complete rear unit.
Anyway. Never paid em, as with fitting the wipers would have cost £54.

Soo, if it helps, i got a brand new FIAT rear blade assembly off a guy for £5 (delivered) and i've fitted a set of BOSCH front ones (£13 delivered).
Anyone need new ones???
I'll put the 2 guys details on here (They both use Ebay etc for convenience!)

Got me a set of Sport + road front pads for only £34 delivered too OMP Sports and Road set. Got that info too if anyones interested:slayer:

£62 for front wipers on a galaxy.
£62 for WIPERS, Blimey gold plated eh!

Fitted the BOSCH ones today, perfect as it was pi**ing it down, they are greeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaat(y)

I can't even begin to think why anyone would want buy normal consumables such as wiper blades from a main dealer - they're no different to the blades you can buy at a much more reasonable price from your local motorists shop. I mean, FIAT want to charge rip-off prices for servicing so imagine what profit they want to make on parts
As for the rear wiper - you don't need to replace the whole arm. The blade can be easily removed and replaced separately. In fact, I bought a single blade from my local motor shop and cut it down to fit. Works perfectly (y)

A bit of unecessary work Jonesy, me thinks.
The reason the whiole arm is to be replaced is because they are made that way. Modifying a blade to fit the old arm, sounds good in the short term
Until of course it works loose, whilst in use and scratches your rear glass.

£5 delivered of a guy on Ebay brand new, Still in its FIAT wrapper and probably cheaper than any after market blade. (Especially in the long run!)(y)

How is it 'rip-off' no general garage has the resources/knowledge to fix your car than a main Fiat dealer.I'd like to know how much you pay for your servicing..is it less than £89? Oh and that includes pollen/air/oil filters, oil, spark plugs, washer fluid, full brake(wheels & drums off),steering & suspension check, all electrics tested,anti-freeze level & your car washed!

Did a quote for a set of wipers on some Toyota, think it was a Lucida, back in the Summer. The drivers one was £118, passenger was £68.

And people have the nerve to say halfords is expensive :D
