I bought my Fiat 500, brand new, in 2015 - it’s dual logic and currently only has around 11,000 miles on the clock.

When it came back from it’s latest MOT the electronic dashboard started playing up - I raised this with the garage but they said it was a coincidence. Since then however the electronic display ranges from a jumble of every symbol out there, to completely blank (not handy for checking petrol) to working perfectly fine. The issue is usually worse if I haven’t driven it for a few weeks - today the first 30 mins I had the jumbled dashboard and now it is working perfectly

I am not sure if anyone has seen a similar issue and could suggest a fix? Hoping I don’t want to have to spend ££ replacing the whole dash

Thanks for all of your help and advice!

Open the bonnet. At the "back" under the wipers you will see two little rubber half moon shaped "duckbills" hanging down. They let water out of the cabin heater air intake but can fill with mud.

The car's computers are all linked together so the issue could be at any of the connection blocks. However, LED/LCD instrument panels can be a problem on many cars. If the problem persists its probably repairable and reasonable cost. Talk to people like ECUtesting.com. There will be others but they've had good reviews and were used by Wheeler Dealers at least once.
