Technical Dashboard grill removal?

Does anyone know how to remove this grill? I have narrowed a rattle down to just beside this and if I can remove the grill I could access the bit that is rattling.

Having experienced rattles from behind there, I can tell you that grille doesn't come out - it's part of the compete plastic moulding of the black part of the dash... item 1 here:

The rattle often comes from the passenger airbag that is just inside the top of the main dash panel. The rattle tends to get worse depending on the temperature of the heating ducts that run near it (some rattle with the air con on, others in winter with the heating going). The only access to under there is by removing the glovebox, but even then you can't get to the top of the airbag. To reach that, it's a full 'dash out' job (which means some pretty major dismantling, including removing both front doors!)

Before goring that far, you can remove the radio and the face vents above that which lets you see/reach a little further in... noting there's a screw that goes upwards holding the centre vent in place. that screw falls out, never to be seen again unless you turn the car upside down... so it just sits and adds to the existing rattle! (Been there, done that... changed the car... )
