hi, just joined to try and get some advice, I've read various other threads with similar problem as me so sorry if it sounds like a broken record.

I've got a fiat stilo 1.6, the instrumental panel seems not to be working, I have no fuel guage, speedometer, no warning lights. The display panel does light up and flickers at times, although there is no information on there. The only light that does come up is for the driver side seat belt when I start the car. The car has been starting fine.
This happened a year ago also and when taken to the garage they said they just checked all the fuses and put it together again, which cost me £150.
Options please, could it be just a loose connection at the back or wil lit need a new cluster like most other threads have had to do?

Please be aware I'm not technically minded, I've checked the fuses under the drivers side and pulled one out as the display panel was still flickering when I had the key out

All opinions and help welcomed.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Are you able to read any error codes ?

You may find reading the stored error codes may give you a clue to what and where the problem is. Most of the data(revs, speed, temp, etc) is sent from the body computer(behind the fuse box next to the drivers knee) to the dash to be displayed. It may just be a loose or corroded connector.

in most cases the problem is inside the cluster itself - i repaired lots of them and can repair yours for 65 pound plus shipping costs NL to UK.
Just send PM for more info....
