cv help///how to word job role of 1st line desktop/helpdesk support

hi can anyone of you lot provide help as to what is required from the above job

1)does this include printer installing,
troubleshooting etc.
to fill in a cv it has to be worded perfectly im struggling with this and dont wish to join another forum becasue of this

2)basically i dont think this involves any server based jobs etc. am i right

also thsi is 1st lien helpdesk/desktop support BUT is it wise to write Junior ot Entr Level instead??

Most first line support staff wouldn't even know where the on/off switch is, so being able to install a printer makes you way over qualified.

Secondly, the ability to type and spell is always a plus.

Is it me or do we get these quite alot?

It's also the case that none of them have a grasp of the written English language.

but technical support are the basic people

what should the first role be>

1st line desktop support
1st lien helpdesk support
entry level support
junior support etc. what soudns better but at the same time not going for a job which might be over my head??

also any key bullet points about the top job i have no idea what will be impressive and dont wish to list every little detail..

anything with first line in the name means you will be sitting at a desk all day answering the phone in a call centre like scenario. been there dine that lol.

but you have to start somewhere

it from there you move up a level

i presuem that level will be a more server role am i correct??

if so woulkd this be regarded as
2nd line
or also network analyst??


any other roles this can be named under ?

is this the right level up?? or have i missed something?
