I have a 2013 MY Ducato.
When I switch the cruise control on it lights up other warning lights as well as the cruise control light.
The lights are:
Fiat code vehicle protection system failure
Water in diesel filter
Glow plug failure
and
Left hand indicator

It's not a big deal but I'd like to get it sorted.
Will it be a faulty circuit board in the instrument panel?
Cheers Chris

Those lamps don't flash with the indicator then? Someone with multiecuscan could turn each of those dash lamps on and off. If there was some kind of short you would expect more than one to light up. When you click the ignition on the dash will show all lamps but should not show the left indicator one. Does it light up then?

So if there was damage somewhere linking the signals to those lamps you would expect them to always light up together, regardless of which one was supposed to. Multiecuscan is software which via the service connection can tell the panel computer to light up each of those lamps.
The ignition comment relates to when you turn the key to start the van. If you look with full ignition but not start the engine, all those lights should be on, but the indicator ones off. I think. If the left indicator comes on at that time it seems likely your dash wiring or PCB is corrupt somehow

Sounds like the same problem being reported by many motorhome owners. The solution is to replace the instrument cluster! I believe FIAT has replaced some of these outside warranty as a goodwill gesture.

If you search the Internet for dashboard cluster ducato cruise control you will find lots of similar reports

This is not a recommendation as such as don't have direct experience but on the forum cartronix advertise a by return service. Google and call. If no luck with Fiat.
