So I went for a drive today and after a little while I started hearing a clicking noise as I was going along so I stopped to have an investigate and found that at low speeds it was more of a creak when the wheel gets to a certain point in it's rotation. I drove forwards and backwards a few times with my head out the window to confirm it was definitely the front right wheel and to try to work out what it could be. It tracks straight, no vibration on or off brakes or funny feeling when cornering, no play in the wheel bearing, sometimes steering made it quiter, sometimes not. It was fine before yesterday when I had that wheel off to reinflate the tyre my mate let down (something about hitting him in the balls annoyed him for some reason) and this was the first time I'd driven it since then. The clicking is loudest around 20-25mph and then gets a little quiter and is definitely wheel speed dependant. I call it clicking but it's more the creak that I hear at very low speeds sped up so it sounds closer to a click. I'll have a proper look at it at the weekend but just wanted to know if anyone's had that problem before and might be able to point me in the right direction.
