hey guys, i have a fiat bravo 1.2 v reg... all of a sudden its started idling to high. only does it sometimes.. but its really annoying. sometimes if goes to like 3k on idle. cheers Mark

Im not very fimiliar with english reg plates but im going to take a wild stab and guess you have a cable throttle your stepper motor has failed, a good secondhand one will cure that problem

Check the inlet manifold from block to throttle body before spending any cash. You want to check for air leaks.

Hello, this is classic problem on 1.2 engine. So do not spend cash until doing follow. Reason for this is throttle position sensor. Usually you do not need to change it. Just put washers between sensor and throttle body.

just got given a second hand one.. just the black thing that bolts on and the plug connects to it. not sure whats it called. well its a bit better..but still revs abit high.

metal washers? you mean put one on each hexagon bolt?
