Hello Mucka's and Muckeressis,
Regardin the work on 'Ole Blue', I haven't quite got round to finding me 'ammer un chizul' yet - that's the problem with getting 'mature' you tend to not remember things, which is sometimes a benefit, though I can't think of one at the moment.
I had intended to get crackin on the long overdue service and other little jobs that keep creeping up and quietly joinin the list, without even an invitation.
I've been kept a bit busy with other stuff - in fact, so busy I wanna know where my 'idle retirement' has gone, I was told 'you're gonna be bored stiff' after you retire, what with all that dead time on your hands an nothin to do but twiddle ya thumbs...
Seems to me I've missed out somewhere, or I've been short changed at least, I don't have time to find enough hours in the day to do all I want.
Anyway, I should find time this week to sort the Ole Girl out. I'll give you a run down on progress, as and when. Then I'll let y'all know what I think of these 'new' pulleys, if I remember correctly, that last 'new' one started screeching again after only 2 or 3 days, so I don't know what to think, the old pulley was a goner for sure, but I'd have thought the new one might have lasted a big longer.
Anyway, later.
George
P/S Sorry WMF: I haven't seen a name on the new pulley mate, which is a bit disturbing. Could it be P.R.C. quality? If so I'd better find another P.D.Q.
