Hi all.

2002 Seicento 1.1 mpi

Before removing the head, the valve timing was set with the camshaft sprocket pointing to the cut out in the head and the crankshaft sprocket sitting at 5 deg BTDC - This was verified by removing the rubber plug at the gearbox and seeing where the notch in the flywheel was. The car was running well with no issues.
From what I have read, the flywheel notch is meant to be at 0 deg at the crank when the cam is aligned properly... can someone 100% verify this?

Thanks

Scott

Yes 0 degrees at crank.
It is easy to be 5 degrees out at crank viewing the cam sprocket marks.
Don't worry about it just set it correctly when reassembling.
